The rules for using Workunit, how billing works, and what to expect from AI and advanced features.
Last updated: March 1, 2026
These terms explain who can use Workunit, what's prohibited, how billing and refunds work, and how AI, BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) credentials, and file storage are handled.

Billing and refunds
Payment processor
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number.
Subscription plans
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Some plans use per-seat pricing.
First month free
New Pro subscriptions include a 30-day free period. No charge until the second month.
Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Seat changes
Added seats are charged on a prorated basis during the current billing cycle. Seat reductions take effect at the next billing date.
Refunds
If you cancel a monthly subscription, you receive a prorated refund for unused time. Annual subscriptions are generally non-refundable unless required by law or granted as an exception.
Billing disputes
Please contact [email protected] before starting a chargeback so we can resolve the issue directly.
AI, credentials, and file storage
AI features
AI features provide suggestions and help organize context, but output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You remain responsible for review and decisions.
BYOK credential storage
If you use BYOK features, credentials are stored with envelope encryption and only decrypted when you run an execution.
Third-party transmission
When you run an execution, relevant credentials may be sent to the third-party providers required for that workflow, such as Sprites.dev or OpenRouter.
File attachments
Attachments are stored in Cloudflare R2 and served through unguessable URLs. Do not share those URLs with people who should not have access.
Control and deletion
You can verify and remove keys from your settings. Attachments and credentials are deleted according to the rules in our privacy policy.
Termination and liability
By you
You may delete your account from settings. Paid subscriptions remain active through the current billing period unless the law requires otherwise.
By us
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Effect of termination
Your right to use the service ends when the account is terminated. Data deletion then follows the retention rules in our privacy policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
Workunit is provided as-is, without guarantees that it will always be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Workunit against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
General terms
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of France, with disputes resolved in the courts of Paris unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes where appropriate.
Entire agreement
These terms and the privacy policy form the complete agreement between you and Workunit.
Severability and waiver
If one provision is unenforceable, the rest still apply. Failing to enforce a provision once does not waive the right to enforce it later.
Assignment
You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations as part of a lawful transfer of the business or service.
